Article 1 (Application of These Terms and Conditions)
1. Accommodation contracts and related agreements entered into with this facility shall adhere to these terms and conditions. Matters not stipulated in these terms shall be governed by applicable laws or generally established customs.
2. When this facility agrees to special terms within the scope of applicable laws and customs, such special terms shall take precedence over these terms and conditions, regardless of the previous paragraph.
Article 2 (Refusal of Accommodation)
This facility may refuse accommodation in the following cases:
1. The application for accommodation does not comply with these terms and conditions.
2. There are no available rooms due to full occupancy.
3. The person seeking accommodation is recognized as likely to engage in acts that violate laws, public order, or good morals in relation to accommodation.
4. The person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as having a contagious disease.
5. A request is made for special burdens regarding accommodation.
6. Accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility malfunctions, or other unavoidable reasons.
7. The person seeking accommodation is severely intoxicated and is recognized as likely to cause significant disturbance to neighboring residents or other guests.
8. The guest intends to bring dangerous items (such as stoves, fire-producing devices, or petroleum products).
9. Cases that fall under provisions stipulated by the Shizuoka Prefecture Accommodation Business Act Enforcement Ordinance.
10. The person seeking accommodation has previously been subject to Article 10 of these terms.
11. The person seeking accommodation is a minor.
Article 3 (Registration for Accommodation)
1. Those intending to apply for an accommodation contract at this facility shall provide the following details:
1. The guest’s address, name, phone number, gender, and nationality.
2. For foreign guests, nationality, passport number, entry location, and date of entry.
3. Dates of stay, estimated arrival time, departure date, departure time, applicant’s phone number, and name.
4. If payment for charges outlined in Article 9 is intended by credit card or other currency alternatives, this should be presented at the time of registration.
5. Other matters deemed necessary by the facility.
2. If a guest wishes to extend their stay beyond the originally registered accommodation period without prior reservation, the request will be considered a new application for an accommodation contract, provided the facility has availability and accepts the request.
Article 4 (Establishment of Accommodation Contract)
1. The accommodation contract shall be deemed established when this facility accepts the application in the previous article. However, depending on the accommodation plan, the contract is established upon receipt of advance payment after application, and confirmation of the deposit by the facility.
2. The deposit will first be applied to the accommodation fee payable by the guest and, in case of a situation covered by Article 5, used for penalty charges and compensation in that order. Any remaining amount will be refunded.
3. If the deposit in the previous paragraph is not paid by the designated date, the accommodation application will be rendered invalid.
4. Reservations are accepted up to the last day of six months from the first of each month.
Article 5 (Cancellation of Reservation)
If the applicant cancels all or part of a reservation, the facility will charge a penalty according to the following:
1. A penalty of 100% of the accommodation fee for the entire reserved period if canceled from 3 days prior to the accommodation date.
2. If a guest does not arrive by 10:00 PM on the accommodation date without prior notice, the reservation may be deemed canceled by the applicant and treated accordingly.
3. In cases of shortened reservation days, the penalty ratio will be based on one day (first day), regardless of the reduced number of days.
4. If the reason for not arriving on the accommodation date was due to a delay or non-arrival of public transport or other reasons beyond the guest’s control, no penalty will be charged under the first paragraph.
Penalty Fees
- No-show: 100%
- 3 days prior to the accommodation date: 100%
Article 6 (Facility's Right to Cancel Reservation)
The facility may cancel a reservation in the following cases:
1. If the conditions in Article 2, paragraphs 3 through 9, apply.
2. If the information required by Article 3, paragraph 1 is not provided.
3. If requested deposit payment is not made by the due date.
The facility will refund any reservation fees already received if the reservation is canceled under this article.
Article 7 (Check-In and Check-Out Times)
1. The facility’s check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out time is by 10:00 AM.
2. Extensions beyond 10:00 AM are not permitted unless approved by the facility.
Article 8 (Payment of Fees)
Payment of fees shall be made by the designated date via bank transfer, credit card, or at the facility. Even if the guest voluntarily chooses not to stay after using the room, the accommodation fee will still be charged.
Article 9 (Facility Use Regulations)
Guests shall adhere to the facility's established usage regulations while on the premises.
Article 10 (Refusal of Continued Accommodation)
The facility may refuse continued accommodation in the following cases:
1. If any of the conditions specified in Article 2, paragraphs 3 through 9, apply.
2. If a non-guest is allowed into the guest room.
3. If guests do not comply with the usage regulations in Article 9.
4. Acts like smoking in non-designated areas, tampering with fire equipment, or violating other prohibited matters.
Article 11 (Facility’s Responsibility for Accommodation)
1. The facility’s responsibility begins when the guest registers or enters the facility and ends when the guest leaves.
2. If the facility cannot provide a room, it will arrange similar accommodation except in cases of natural disaster or other significant reasons.
3. In such cases, the facility’s liability does not exceed the accommodation fee.
Article 12 (Handling of Deposited Items)
1. The front desk can store guests' items free of charge.
2. The facility is not liable for loss or damage to items or valuables unless caused by its intentional or gross negligence.
Article 13 (Storage of Luggage and Belongings)
1. If the facility stores luggage prior to a guest’s stay, it is not liable for loss or damage unless caused by its intentional or gross negligence.
2. Unclaimed items left after check-out will be stored for 180 days, after which valuables will be sent to the nearest police station, and other items will be disposed of.
Article 14 (Parking)
Guests may use the parking lot from 2:30 PM on the check-in day to 10:30 AM on the check-out day.
Article 15 (Guest Responsibility)
1. If the facility incurs damages due to a guest’s intentional or negligent actions, the guest will be liable for compensation.
2. If a guest’s actions in violation of Article 9’s usage regulations cause harm to a third party, or if the guest suffers harm due to such violations, the facility bears no liability.
Article 16 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
All disputes arising from these terms shall be settled in accordance with Japanese law, with the Tokyo District Court as the exclusive court of first instance.
To maintain the public and safety standards of our facility, guests using this facility are required to follow the rules outlined below based on Article 9 of the Arts Inn Accommodation Terms. If these rules are not followed, we reserve the right to refuse continued accommodation according to Article 10 of the Arts Inn Accommodation Terms.
1.Do not use any items that may cause a fire, such as fire-related equipment, within the facility.
2.Smoking is prohibited inside the facility, on the grounds, on the balcony, or on the front road (including electronic cigarettes). If smoking or carrying cigarette butts is detected, a cleaning fee of 33,000 yen and compensation for damages will be charged. If complaints are received from neighboring residents, you will be asked to check out.
3.As this facility is located in a residential area, please avoid loud singing, disruptive behavior, or any actions that may disturb the neighbors or cause discomfort to others.
4.The following items are prohibited from being brought into the facility: (a) Animals (except for dogs staying in pet-friendly rooms) (b) Items with a strong odor (c) Excessive amounts of belongings (d) Flammable or explosive materials, such as gunpowder or volatile oils (e) Illegal weapons, such as firearms or swords (f) Drugs, narcotics, or stimulants
5.Gambling or any actions that disturb public order or morale are strictly prohibited within the facility.
6.Do not bring in outside guests, move, alter, or take out any of the facility's equipment or items, or use them for purposes other than their intended use.
7.Do not attach foreign objects to the facility’s buildings or equipment, nor move them to other locations.
8.As the facility is multi-story, please be careful of your footing and avoid peering into areas unnecessarily.
9.Do not use the facility while in an intoxicated state.
